MotoRad Germany Open Position: Accountant
Reports to: Subsidiaries finance controller (located in Israel)

General description:
The accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This role involves preparing financial statements, generating reports, supervising payroll, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice processing – Processing, approving, paying, contacting vendor in case there is an issue.
- Collection and dealing with aging issues – Collection, sending statements to customers, monthly tracking of aging report.
- Managing travel expenses (will be in Concur TMS), petty cash and credit cards bookings – Controlling expenses reports in Concur (future planning), receiving credit card statements – control and process, petty cash reports – receive and pay.
- Rep Commissions management and tracking – EMEA segment (including ROW) – Tracking monthly settlements with agents and preparing the monthly accrual for end of month reporting process, sending monthly/quarterly statement to the agent.
- Budget control (Germany) – Monthly budget control, tracking the different budget codes Vs. actual.
- Opening customers and relevant budget codes in the system.
- Payroll – tracking attendance, overtime, sickness, and vacation for German employees, dealing with payroll related issues.
- End of month reporting process – monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, revaluation, depreciation, reconciling IC accounts, other tasks as requested.
- Monthly VAT (in Germany), sales and Interstat reports submission.
- Support annual audit – gathering documentation, Q&A.
- Handling insurance policies and reporting.
- Support in the yearly budget process.
- Different financial analyses – per request.
- Improving financial processes, policies.
- Legal issues – dealing with legal documentation and requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
- Advanced level of written and spoken English is a must.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong understanding of financial statements and general ledger functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
